Manhattan (East Side)(Grand CentralStation) FDR Drive to Brooklyn-Battery TunnelTake BQE (I-278) to Exit #23 (39th Street).Go left 180 degrees onto 39th Street.Go to next light and right 2 blocks to 41st Street.Make a right, Studio is on the left. Take the 4 or 5 Express downtown (stops at 86th & 42nd).Change at Union Square - 14th Street for the N Express.Take 3 stops to 36th Street - 4th Avenue (Brooklyn).Walk to 41st Street and 3rd Avenue. In rain or snow, walk to 3rd Avenue, then under the highway and you won't get wet!

From the George Washington Bridge, you can either take the Maj Deagan (follow the directions above for the Bronx), or do the following, which apply to the Lincoln & Holland tunnels as well:

Take the West Side Highway to Brooklyn-Battery Tunnel. Take the BQE (I-278) to Exit #23 (39th Street). Go left 180 degrees onto 39th Street. Go to next light and right 2 blocks to 41st Street. Make a right, Studio is on the left.
